Scott Hunter

Pittsburgh-based artist Scott Hunter studied painting and art history at Boston University. Informed by his classically structured education in New England, Hunter’s aesthetic is rooted in tradition.

The artist produces both figurative works and abstract impressionist paintings. “It is about the arrangement of images, textures, colors and shapes,” he says. Hunter has exhibited his work in numerous galleries in New York and Pennsylvania, as well as several group shows at OneWay Gallery. Hunter also has professional experience in theatrical set design, illustration, commissioned portraits and wall murals.
